District Council 1M believes that organizing and collective action is necessary to continuously improve safety, working standards, pay, benefits, and the overall quality of life for our members and their families.
Action
We strive to secure legislation and support candidates that create policy to bring good union jobs with higher wages and better working conditions to our members.
Support
We work to promote, encourage and facilitate satisfactory contractual relationships with employers in the industries from which the members of our union are drawn.
PROGRESS
District Council 1M continues to advance and maintain good relations with our members and their employers, and to otherwise enrich the lives of our members and their families and all other working men and women.
